Qualified Child and Adolescent Therapist in Somerset

Elaine Hutchinson is a qualified Child and Adolescent Therapist, Counsellor and Play Therapist working in the Bristol, Bath, Wells, Yeovil, Taunton and surrounding areas of Somerset.

Elaine works with children and young people to help them manage big feelings, stressful situations and other life challenges they may face.  She also supports parents, carers, families and professionals to help them effectively support the children, teens and young people they care about.

Elaine offers training, support and creative clinical supervision to professionals including therapists, teachers, social workers, medical staff and others in caring, support or education-based professions at her studio in Wells, or in their workplace.

Creating Calm is an independent therapeutic service supporting children, young people and their families with Play and Creative Arts Therapy, CATT, Filial Therapy, TraumaPlay, PCAP, NVR and more. 

Some clinical assessments currently used by the NHS are also available for children, teens and young people to further inform the parents, carers and other professionals who support them.
